How It All Began

I’m thrilled to present *How It All Began*, a heartfelt project I co-authored and illustrated, inspired by my own family’s journey and my adopted daughter. This story sheds light on the adoption path, aiming to empower families with adopted children to openly discuss their experiences without fear or secrets.
But also, this tale is for all other children, because in it they will discover a world influenced by Bulgarian myths and legends, they will meet unknown creatures – scary and evil, kind and good, mysterious and changeable… They will learn that a family can be built like this, and there is nothing strange, secret or shameful in that. They will learn about fate and how with will, perseverance and strength of spirit, it can be guided…
